Designed and manufactured using the latest techniques including surface mount technology, the combined detector / voice sounder offers easy and quick installation with the added
benefit of a lower quantity of physical devices required for a system.

The EMS wire-free voice message evacuation / smoke detection device is a battery operated unit remotely activated and monitored by the system 5000 controller. Each unit has a unique
address configured during manufacture and is individually addressable by the system controller.

Each unit can produce up to 4 separate fully synchronised, locally stored audio messages. These messages can be triggered either by a standard EMS System 5000 Control panel or a separate Voice evacuation Controller.

The sounder part of the unit consists of its own integral energy source typically lasting 3 years and is remotely activated and monitored by the system 5000 controller. The detection section of the unit is available with various options, these include optical, heat and combined sensor heads.

The sounder element is designed as omni – directional with an Output of 90 dBA at 1 meter.

Making it ideal for hotels, boarding schools and nursing homes where a detector & sounder would be required in each room
The internal polling of the sensor is every 5 seconds, which accelerates to every 2 seconds when traces of smoke of heat are detected. The alarm is then verified twice to ensure
freedom from false alarms.
