Panasonic CCTVPanasonic Standard Warranty Terms & ConditionsWarranty period The warranty commences from the original date of installation and Panasonic System Solutions will at its sole discretion, repair or exchange any faulty product with a service exchange unit or comparable refurbished product in order to keep the site operational. The warranty covers product failure due to defects in materials or workmanship, which occur during normal use. It does not cover damage which occurs in transit or failures which result from alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, faulty installation, maladjustment of user controls, improper maintenance, modification or service other than by an authorised Panasonic Security System Service Centre, or damage that is attributable to acts of God. Where products require regular servicing or maintenance, an authorised Panasonic Security System Service Centre must carry this out according to Panasonic recommendations. Any preventative maintenance is not covered under warranty. Panasonic will collect faulty product from the installation company premises and will be responsible for parts and labour costs to repair the item and return it to the installation company. Beyond the first year, and payable to the maintainer, labour cost for the removal and re-installation of the product on site or its replacement product will be chargeable. Panasonic will in no circumstances be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage however occurring. Warranty repairs will require detail of the date of purchase and installation date when being requested. The unit will be pre-booked and be allocated a repair reference. Accurate fault details should be enclosed with a warranty return. Please refer to Specific Warranty Exclusions as some product categories are excluded.
